Cookies, but make it transparent.

The cookies and similar technologies used on digizee.co.uk, what each one does, and how to switch them off.

tl;dr — the no-cap version
  • Visitors don't need any cookies for the site to work.
  • We use Google Analytics to see which pages help people most.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by our own code.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser any time.

The full version below is the one that counts.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things, such as whether you have visited before. Similar technologies, like scripts that record how a page is used, are covered by this policy too.

How we use them

We use cookies in two ways:

  • Strictly necessary: only when a member of our team signs in to manage the website. Visitors don’t need any cookies for the site to work.
  • Analytics: to understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.

Google Analytics is loaded through the Google tag and Google Tag Manager. Google’s own explanation of these cookies is at business.safety.google/privacy.

Third-party services without cookies

To load quickly, some parts of the website come from other providers. They don’t set cookies through our site, but, like any web request, they receive your IP address and browser details:

  • Google Fonts, for the typefaces;
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr, for animation and graphics code;
  • Spline, for the 3D graphic on the homepage (desktop only).

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge explain how. Blocking analytics cookies won’t stop the website working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

More about your data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including analytics data, and your rights over it.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies on the website change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
