The Commercial Bottleneck
Client Profile: A multi-location premium burger and dessert brand in the Midlands. Identifying details withheld under commercial confidentiality.
The client was bleeding profit margins. While their daily order volume was high, over 70% of their transactions were processed through third-party delivery aggregators taking massive commission cuts. Their native website was invisible for local search terms. When hungry users searched for their exact brand name, the aggregator websites ranked higher than the restaurant itself. Furthermore, the client's existing mobile checkout process was complicated, causing massive cart abandonment and forcing frustrated users back to the delivery apps.
The Technical Protocol
We executed a complete structural overhaul focused strictly on driving direct conversions and bypassing the aggregator platforms entirely.
- Local Search Interception: We deployed advanced LocalBusiness schema markup and restructured their domain hierarchy. This forced the search engines to rank the client's actual website above the Just Eat and Deliveroo directory pages for their own branded search terms.
- Frictionless Mobile Engineering: We stripped the bloated code from their native ordering system. We engineered a lightning-fast, mobile-optimised checkout process that allowed a user to place an order in under three clicks.
- Direct Retention Campaigns: We deployed Meta Ads targeting their historical customer database with specific incentives to download the native app or order directly from the new website, actively shifting customer buying habits away from third-party platforms.
